Nicole Hymel has faced unimaginable challenges since birth, living with disabling spina bifida that has kept her in and out of the hospital for most of her life. Right now, Nicole is experiencing some of the most difficult days she’s ever known. Complications from her condition have left her bedridden for the foreseeable future, unable to work, and without any family support. She has no mother, father, or siblings to lean on, and the holidays are especially hard since losing her mother four years ago. Despite all of this, Nicole remains a kind and gentle soul who doesn’t deserve the pain and isolation she’s experiencing.

Nicole’s immediate needs are urgent. She requires assistance with daily living—meals, groceries, rent, and utilities—to help her stay safe and comfortable. Without family to help, she is relying on the kindness of others to get through this incredibly tough time.
