Support Nicole Brooks in Her Battle with Cancer

My name is Elonda and I’m trying to raise money for one of my oldest and dearest friends, Nicole Brooks.

Nicole is a divorced mother of 3 beautiful girls.

On 3/30/23, the unimaginable happened. While working from home, she heard a pop and felt the most intense pain of her life. Her colon exploded, and she was rushed to the hospital. After waking up from a 5-day coma, she was told she had stage 4 terminal colon cancer and would live the rest of what time she has with a colostomy bag. She was considered a miracle for making it through and has been fighting this disease as hard as she can with chemo since. She even went back to work as a teacher for a short time.

Unfortunately, the cancer has progressed and needs even more aggressive treatment which will make it where she will be unable to work full time. We want to relieve some of her worries and stress and help out financially so that she can spend time fighting this disease and loving on her daughters. She has fought hard since March of 2023, she will continue to fight but we want to relieve what stress we can.

UPDATE:

Nicole is on day 12 of this hospital stay, she has had some great improvements but also a few small setbacks. Thankfully her NG tube was taken out and she has been allowed to drink liquids again and eat small amounts of soft food. The goal is to get her body stronger and in taking soft foods and protein drinks so that she can get back on some aggressive chemo and shrink these tumors!
