Earlier this year, newlyweds Nicole and Ellis moved back from Idaho to California, excited to return to the Conejo Valley and begin settling down to build a family together. They had been creating a life and planning their future, but everything changed when their rental home tragically caught fire.
In a matter of moments, they lost nearly all of their belongings. But the hardest thing to lose above all was their beloved dog Maggie. While they mourn their sweet girl, they are so lucky to still have Murphy who was rescued from the fire and is recovering from smoke inhalation and burns.. leaving them with over $8,000 in vet bills. With Ellis and Nicole both in school and working so hard to rebuild their lives, this loss has been both emotionally and financially devastating.
They are now faced with the enormous task of starting over, finding a new home, replacing basic necessities, and caring for their doggie as they recover.
Your donations will go directly toward:
Vet bills and pet recovery
A new rental deposit and first month’s rent
Replacing essential items like clothes, furniture, and home supplies ️
Everyday living and school expenses
We are hoping to raise $30,000 to help them rebuild and find stability again as they begin this next chapter of their lives. Any amount, big or small, truly makes a difference.
Please consider donating or sharing to help Nicole and Ellis get back on their feet and continue their journey toward the family and future they’ve been working so hard to create. ❤️
