I’m starting this fundraiser for my friend Jessica – a single mom with the biggest heart I know, whose mother was diagnosed with stage four cancer last July. Between hospital visits, doctor appointments, and long days with her mom, she did everything she could to be there- even when it meant missing work.

Jessica has a brother and sister who help as much as they can. Together, they do their best to share the load– yet Jessica has taken on most of the day-to-day care for her mom, often putting her own needs last.

Because she missed so much work to care for her mom, Jessica eventually lost her job. Now, she’s struggling to keep up with rent, utilities, and daily expenses for herself and her son – all the while continuing to care for her mom.

This GoFundMe is to help Jessica stay afloat- to cover bills, rent, groceries, and gas while she focuses on her family.
