Support Nicolas at the 2025 AMF C-13 World Cup in Brazil

We’re so excited and proud to share that Nicolás has been selected to represent Australia as part of the Federation of Australian Futsal Under-13 squad at the AMF Under-13 Futsal World Cup in Fortaleza, Brazil, this September 2025.

The Asociación Mundial de Futsal (AMF), or World Futsal Association, is one of the principal international governing bodies for futsal. It organizes major international tournaments, including the Men’s and Women’s World Championships, as well as elite youth competitions at the U20, U17, U15, and U13 levels. This is a rare and incredible opportunity for Nico to wear the Green & Gold and compete against the best young futsal players in the world.

Nico’s journey in futsal began when he was just 5 years old. He has proudly played every season with Footstars Futsal Club, where he’s grown as both a player and a teammate. In January 2025, Nico represented the Queensland Maroon team at the U12 National Championships in Melbourne, where his team finished as runners-up, an amazing achievement and one of many highlights in his young career. Five of his Queensland teammates and one of his Footstars club teammates have also been selected for the national squad, making this experience even more special.

Being selected for the World Cup is a dream come true and a huge milestone for Nico. His achievement reflects years of dedication, passion, and relentless training. From early mornings to late nights, and countless weekends playing both futsal and football, Nico has poured his heart into the sport he loves. Now, he needs a little help from our friends, family, and community to take the next step.

The World Cup is entirely self-funded, and the costs are significant, covering flights, accommodation, uniforms, coaching, insurance, and tournament fees.
