We are so proud of Nicolai for being selected as a Delegate to the 2026 Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts—an incredible honor for students who are passionate about pursuing careers in medicine and science. The Congress is a national honors program where students learn from award-winning physicians and scientists, explore new medical breakthroughs, and connect with other high-achieving students from across the country. To even be eligible, students must maintain at least a 3.5 GPA or qualifying test scores, showing strong academic dedication and leadership potential.
What makes this even more special is that Nicolai is only a freshman and already pushing himself to reach big goals. When Nicolai was five years old, there was a time when he was almost placed in all special education classes, but I knew he just needed speech support. To see how far he’s come is truly amazing. He gives his best in everything he does, whether it’s running track, recently winning his first 5K, or being a loving and supportive brother. His determination and work ethic truly stand out, and we know this opportunity will help him grow even more.
To help make this opportunity possible, Nicolai is fundraising for the program tuition, travel, and lodging to Boston. He’s also willing to mow lawns and do yard work to help earn his way there. We’re incredibly proud of him and excited to see where his dedication and big dreams take him. If you’d like to support Nicolai on this journey, any help or share means so much.
