Support Nico with Treasure's Vet Bills

Donation protected
Everyone, meet Treasure. I first met her on my birthday, on March 26th. She was in the back of the shelter in a small shoreline. I had to carry her outside. She had been in the shelter for one day. Rise Up Rescue ATL shared my story, and led her to her adopter, Nico! Nico adopted Treasure and awaited spay for her to go home with Nico. Once Treasure got to go home, she noticed she had a cough. Treasure went to VEG and it was discovered she had pneumonia. Lifeline pulled treasure from VEG and brought her back to DCAS because of the costs she was incurring at VEG only to turn her status back to being unadopted?! Which, Nico always wanted Treasure and told them that. If I had seen Treasure since she has been back the past couple days I would have taken her out, but she has been hidden in an office… instead of being taken care of at the clinic. Which, the clinic is highly overwhelmed. Soooo Nico’s friend is a wonderful human and adopted her yesterday to get her back to Nico. She had her for a day until Treasure fell to very ill. Her friend rushed her to Urgent Vet in Roswell. She got cold on the car ride. I was on the phone with Nico as this was happening…. Since then, Treasure is in okay condition and is now going to stay overnight at Animal Emergency Center of Sandy Springs

Nico now faces over $5,000 in emergency vet bills with no help. This is not this poor adopters fault. Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge Lifeline advocate. I am always going to be the biggest advocate for the dogs themselves. They have no voice. They get no say in the matter. Treasure almost died today due to negligence because our system is overwhelmed with dogs at the moment. But this is the truth. Please help.
