On Friday, March 7th, our community faced a heartbreaking loss as one of its most cherished and compassionate members, Nicolas (“Nico”) Ramos-Esteban, passed away. After a week of battling a severe case of Meningitis, Nico’s vibrant spirit was overcome by this devastating illness. At UVA and beyond, Nico was known for his kindness, generosity, happy-go-lucky spirit, and dedication to others -- this legacy will remain with him far into the future. As Nico’s family navigates this difficult chapter, any and all support makes a tremendous difference. Even the smallest donation can go a long way in helping Nico’s family during this incredibly challenging time. All proceeds will be sent to Jerome Ramos-Esteban, Nico's father, and will be used to pay for Nico's hospital and funeral expenses. Thank you for your kindness and support.
