In 2016 at age 31, Nico was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. Up until the end of 2018 he didn't have any major issues, other than a lazy foot. After a flare up in 2018, his health started to decline quickly. His entire left side was starting to be slow and clumsy. Even though there are no medications or treatments that are proven to halt the progression of Primary Progressive MS, he was willing to give almost anything a shot. He was desperate.
Under doctor guidance, in March of 2019 he started to try an array of prescriptions, disease modifying treatments (DMT's) which only made things worse, causing him to be on disability.
Since then it has been a downward spiral of failed medications and a continuous progression of symptoms. His walking has been compromised, completely, at times. He has also lost the use of his left hand, has had blinding migraines, spasms, ear malfunction, and the list of symptoms could go on.

Nico heard of stem cell treatments available in other countries and began to research. In this last year his desperation was intensified as his body and mind continued to be compromised at an alarming rate. Having no hope from our medical system, he started reaching out to people that have had stem cell transplant. He found many amazing testimonies, including a documentary from Matt Embrey called "Living Proof" and HSCT The Cure". For the first time, he has hope, apart from God working miraculously (which He still can!). Nico was accepted to HSCT Clinic Ruiz in Pueblo Mexico!
The financial hurdles he is facing for the treatment are:
$70,000 for the treatment
Approximately $10,000 for after-treatment medications and accommodation before and after the 28-day treatment for himself and a caregiver who will accompany him for the duration of his travels. He does not have an exact dollar amount because the post-treatment medications vary from patient to patient. Airfare has been generously provided.
Nico has two potential intake dates, Jan 31st or April 30th, 2022. He is hoping everything aligns for Jan 31st, as the progression of symptoms is continuing.
