About Nick

Chances are if you have ever met Nick, you became fast friends. He is kind, adventurous, and hard-working. He spends most of his free time outside on his bike or out running; training for 100k marathons in the mountains.

Last year Nick took the risk of quitting his job and starting his own carpentry and landscape business, Lucid Lumber & Landscaping.
It has been a joy for him to build outdoor living spaces that bring people closer to nature.

Accident/Injury

On August 11 Nick was working inside a restaurant and the ladder he was standing on slipped from under him and Nick fell 18 feet. First, his back hit the edge of a bar top, and then his head hit the tile floor

After rushing him to the ER & getting every test possible, we found out Nick has compression fractures in his vertebrae and has a bulging disk in his back.

As bad as the injury sounds we were GRATEFUL to hear that he had not suffered severe spinal nerve damage or worse...

The doctors are confident that Nick can see a full recovery with 8-12 weeks of rest and physical therapy.

How the money will be used

To pay off the hospital bills and pay for physical therapy, so Nick can get back to doing the things he loves- building, planting & playing outside. The road ahead is full of challenges but we believe that with Nick's strength he can recover. However, he will need months of rest, recovery, and rehabilitation. We are humbly asking for assistance to help relieve some of the financial strain.
