Nick is a personal trainer at our local gym who brings people together and tries to improve people's lives. Nick is the kind of person who goes out of his way to make others feel welcome and build a community. His kindness and generosity have made a real difference to those of us that are lucky to know him.
On Thursday, December 18, 2025, around 7:15pm, Nick was simply crossing N Wakefield St on N Glebe Road in Ballston, Arlington, Virginia, when he got hit and ran over. Two drivers were involved in a road rage incident, and as one tried to flee, they struck Nick, an innocent pedestrian. The impact left Nick with four broken ribs on his right side requiring surgery, eight broken ribs on his left, a collapsed and punctured lung, a broken sacrum, a bruised liver, a broken T5, and deep cuts needing stitches along with a lot of road rash. The driver who hit him is still at large, and Nick now faces a long and slow recovery.
Nick is a beloved trainer and a genuinely kind person who has always been there for others. Now, he needs our help. The medical bills from his injuries will be expensive to say the least, and the road ahead will be challenging. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping Nick recover and return to the life he loves. Please consider supporting Nick and sharing his story so we can rally around him in this time of need.
