Hello, I am Amy Stevens. I am Nicks sister and I am starting a go fund me for Nick in hopes to help him with his medical bills and required time off of work. On Tuesday June 4th, Nick was in horrible pain so bad he drove himself to Toledo Hospital, from there they assessed him (blood work CT scan etc) and decided he required surgery. Wednesday morning they opened up his abdomen( I have pics if anyone wants to see them, they are not for the queasy) found 2 accesses a rupture in his bowel, and 2 hernias. His abdomen was full of puss due to massive internal I infection they cleaned him up and removed 2 feet of intestine.His wound remains opens so they can clean him out every 12 hours( yes it’s incredibly painful) He now has a colostomy bag for at least 6 months.

His spirits are good if you know him well he’s always high spirited. I am asking for help with his mounting hospital bills and he will be off work for awhile. He just started working at US Foods and has no MLO built up or insurance. Anything is helpful.
