My name is Nick Mendoza, and I am honored to be part of Trail Life Troop 5657 in Carrollton, TX. For the past eight years, Trail Life USA has profoundly shaped my leadership skills and character through outdoor adventures, leadership, and service opportunities. I have been privileged to hold leadership roles such as 1st and 2nd Officer, Quartermaster and Patrol Leader, and now I am on the journey of achieving the Freedom Award—the highest honor in Trail Life USA.
As part of this milestone, I am undertaking a service project for the church that charters our troop, to clear the playground grounds of weeds and debris and replace it with weed barrier and playground safe mulch. This playground serves as a welcoming space for not only the families and children of the church, but also for the surrounding neighborhood to fellowship and play outdoors.
I plan to complete this project by the end of July, but I need your help to make it happen. The estimated cost for materials is $2,000, and while volunteers are donating their time and labor, we need funding for supplies. Your donation directly supports this project and fosters community connections.
Donation method:
1. Donate through this website
2. If you are in the area, you can also donate cash
Every contribution brings us closer to completing this meaningful project. Any unused funds will be donated back to Central Park Baptist Church to support their mission further.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support. Together, we can make a lasting impact on our community!
Blessings,
