Support Nick's Fight for Recovery

As I sit here today, I am trying to find the right words to update everyone. So forgive me if I don't have it all together. Nick took a bullet at close range to the gut. It went through his large intestine, nicked his liver, his kidney, and broke his rib. He of course had emergency surgery that night and they had to take a portion of his large intestine as it had spilled over into his gut, they cotorized his liver and then had to pack it to stop the bleeding

, kidney was OK, and cleaned out his inside Cavatity from the spillage of bowels. They left him open for two days because they couldn't close him from swelling and such. When he went in on Tuesday they didn't see infection reattached his bowels, the liver had stopped bleeding so they were able to close him. But he has had many setbacks since then, he hasn't come to yet and we thought yesterday that he was doing good enough to take him off the ventilator. Well he wasn't. He was off for about 2 hours and everything went south. We thought we might lose him. They re- intubated, and he was put on 100 percent oxygen, and basically comatose. He has been weaned off some of the oxygen, but they are now dealing with pneumonia as well. He is a fighter, it's very touch and go right now. Bills and things are mounting so, we are going to start a gofundme. I hope that each of you might share it so that it could hopefully help with things as we are about depleted.
