My Mom Is Fighting Breast Cancer—Now I Need Help to Stop Mine Too

I never thought I’d be asking for this, but right now I can’t do it alone.

Hi, my name is Nick. Recently, I was told that I urgently need a biopsy to remove a suspicious mole that is melanoma (skin cancer). Without insurance, I have to cover the entire cost myself.

The procedure is $2,450, and I don’t have the means to come up with this money on my own. Time is not on my side; the longer I wait, the greater the risk this could develop into something life-threatening.

I don’t have family to lean on. My mom is currently fighting breast cancer and going through radiation treatments, and it’s been incredibly hard for us both, emotionally and financially. She already has so much on her plate, and I can’t bring myself to add this burden onto her.
