Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but my family and I are facing an overwhelming challenge right now. Yesterday morning, 2/7/2025, my dad had a severe stroke caused by a large blood clot. The doctors had to perform an emergency procedure to remove the clot, and while they were able to get it out, there were complications along the way. He had to be intubated because his oxygen levels dropped dangerously low. Thankfully, his condition is now stable, and we’re taking things one step at a time.

Right now, he’s still in the hospital undergoing a series of tests and treatments. While there’s no brain bleeding (which is a huge relief), we’re not out of the woods yet. We’re waiting to hear more from the medical team about what recovery will look like. The truth is, this is going to be a long and difficult road—one that will likely involve physical therapy, ongoing medical care, and other expenses that we weren’t prepared for.

My dad is one of the most hardworking and selfless people I know. He’s always been there for me and our family, and now it’s my turn to be there for him. But I can’t do this alone, which is why I’m reaching out for help.
