Support Nick's Battle Against Lymphoma
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Nick, and in early September, I was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma.
On August 21st, I went to the doctor to get a lump checked out on my chest. After showing concern, my doctor scheduled a CT scan for me which revealed multiple internal masses. A biopsy of the surfase lump revealed it to be cancer. This has turned my life upside down following an almost immediate chemotherapy treatment plan. On September 11th, I went to St. Lukes in Milwaukee for my 1st round of 6 chemo treatments, each staying the night there for 5 days. Right now, I'm currently in my 4th round of chemo, and I'm feeling pretty good. Every 3 weeks I go back for my 5 days of treatment and receive my next round of chemo. My goal is to go back to work between each round for as many days as I'm comfortable to, but eventually I may run out of sick leave pay.
I've never been someone to ask for help or support, but right now, it's something I sadly need to do. Medical bills keep coming in and I'm not sure how much into 2025 I'll be doing treatments, being a new year and new insurance cycle. Any donations will be used for medical bills and to help pay the bills at home so my wife and family don't have to worry.
I'm over halfway now, but there's still a long road ahead. Thanks for taking the time to read my story.
