Support Nick's Battle Against Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Nick and his family are very loved and close friends of my sons and my husband and mine. His mom Theresa, understandably is focusing all of her attention on Nick and in order for her to do that, we want to ease some of her burdens. Besides the mounting medical bills, there are other expenses such as every day living expenses. Please help us ease some of the financial hurdles that may cause her stress so she can focus her time and energy on Nick. Here is her story in her words.

On Feb 18th, Nicholas went to the ER for what we thought was a shoulder issue causing an almost fist size lump on the right side of his collarbone/neck area (he has had constant issues from past breaks etc) after multiple CT scans, MRI, and lymph node removal biopsy, we learned Feb 26th that he has stage 3b/4 Classic Hodgkin's Lymphoma throughout his neck and chest (open space between his lungs, lungs are clear) and several masses on his liver. He attempted first round of chemo Friday but went into anaphylaxis shock from one of the premeds and everything was immediately stopped. Saturday, his treatment plan was updated and he received all 4 chemo drugs with no issues which was beyond a relief to us all. He will be receiving chemo over the next 6 months with a prognosis of remission at that time and hopefully totally cured after 5 years.

He has a long hard road ahead of him but he is going to kick cancers ass and come out the other side of this and continue chasing his dreams.
