Hello friends,

I never imagined myself writing something like this, but here I am. After ten years in a toxic and abusive relationship, I finally found the strength to leave. For years, I coped through heavy drinking, but I have since gone to trauma therapy and completed rehab. I am proud to say I am now 70 days sober and committed to protecting my sobriety and rebuilding my life.

When I returned from rehab, I discovered that my ex had taken all of my belongings. Which includes my pets, clothing, computer, tablet, shoes, and everything I owned. All I have left is a single suitcase. He has refused to return anything unless I sign a contract to stay with him for another year. Something I will never agree to.

Right now, I am applying for jobs and reaching out for domestic violence support, but I need help to get back on my feet. This GoFundMe is to help me replace the essentials I lost, cover immediate living expenses, and continue building a safe, healthy, independent future.
