Hi, I’m Sevyn Hocevar, a very blessed daughter of my father Nick Hocevar. A dad who has always been my best friend and my biggest supporter.

He recently suffered a left thalamic intracerebral hemorrhage, a type of stroke earlier this month. A life-altering event that has significantly affected his speech and mobility on the right side of his body. The recovery process for such an impactful event includes extensive rehabilitation. Including physical and speech therapy to regain his strength, mobility, and communication.

The recovery process will not be quick nor easy. It will take time, patience and consistent care. With such a short notice, we are doing the best of our abilities to manage everything while continuing our daily lives. However, the recovery process over the coming weeks and months will bring ongoing and significant costs.

There are many challenges to come along the way, but I am confident to help our family throughout this journey and be there for him every step of recovery. He is not just my loving father, but a husband, son, uncle, and friend to many. I am committed to do anything I possibly can to support his recovery and help him regain his strength and independence, as well as to help my family through this difficult time.
