Support Nick Dugmore (DUGGIE) for the next chapter
Donation protected
As most of you know, Nick Dugmore (of Stoke Wines) had a shock diagnosis of Colorectal Cancer in 2023 at the very young age of 39.
While he was in remission, unfortunately, his cancer has now progressed, with the discovery of lesions in his lungs. The lung lesions are in locations too risky to biopsy. At this stage, it is thought the cancer is from the bowel and thus stage 4, but without a biopsy, this can't be confirmed. For now, more radiotherapy is the next option, with surgery currently not on the table.
Nick is an extraordinary human with a heart of gold. A father, a son, a brother, a husband, a podcaster, a winemaker. A cheerleader and supporter. And now a stage 4 cancer sufferer.
He is also the epitome of selflessness - throughout this time, he has been dedicated to supporting others facing cancer, engaging in preliminary research, and co-hosting the very brilliant Power of Awareness podcast.
He is a giver for sure.
Yes, its bullshit. But if there’s one thing we CAN do to help, it’s rally behind this bloody legend and his little fam—because when someone like him gives so much, they for farking sure deserve the same in return.
A donation will also support the day to day running of the winery. Nick is once again in and out of oncology appointments, and will be embarking on rounds of radiotherapy soon leaving him unable to consistently do the work he loves for the next few months.
Amidst this challenge, most importantly, Nick is a devoted dad and husband, and his family deserves every damn moment with him. A donation to support Nick is as much for Bec and the kids and is SUCH a gift for them all, lifting a significant financial burden, reducing stress and giving back precious time and space to focus on healing.
If WE can remove one stress so he can crack on with healing, then we should bloody do that.
It's a no BRAINER.
He is unfaltering in his support of others when they need it, and we should generously continue to support this total ripper when he needs it.
Lets rally- a donation now gives Nick the chance to properly heal his body and become, as he says, “Superhuman”.
Let’s give him EVERY chance of that.
