If you're reading this, it's because you know Nick and Rachel. What you may not know is that just two short weeks ago, Nick suffered his second heart attack. Being the age that he is and as determined as he is, he is already back on his feet and living life, but it is not without lingering fear and concern on his family's part.

Beyond just being scary, these types of events are so stressful. As a friend, colleague, or community member the desire to want to help is natural, but it's difficult to know how. There's only so much room on the counter or in the freezer for food, and fielding texts and phone calls from concerned friends and acquaintances can feel overwhelming for the family. Instead, we thought we'd set up a fundraiser to help with whatever Nick and Rachel might need in the coming months. Babysitters. Groceries. Medical bills. We give, they decide.
