Our one-year-old granddaughter, Sarah, was just diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. She has multiple tumors on and throughout her kidney. She starts 6 weeks of chemotherapy soon and once that is done, she will have surgery to remove the tumors and kidney. After surgery, she will undergo even more chemotherapy. This sudden and horrible diagnosis is going to put a heavy financial burden on her parents, Nick and Madison. The children’s hospital where Sarah will be receiving treatment is over 2 1/2 hours away.
