Nick Sonnenburg has been a lifelong Altadena resident and is among the many who lost his home on Altadena’s Christmas Tree Lane. On Tuesday night, he was helping his family to evacuate from his nearby family home and was only able to grab a few items (along with his cat, Bix) from his own place before he was forced to leave his belongings behind in order to get to safety. While his family home was still standing as of January 10, he lost all of his personal belongings in his apartment fire.

Nick is so appreciative of those who have reached out and offered support already. We are hoping to help him rebuild his life and find a new place to live.
