Hi there, my name is Nichole and I really never thought I’d be in this position. I was unemployed for nearly a year and finally started to get back on my feet last year. However, I’ve had emergency after emergency and now I’m behind on my mortgage and utilities. My pipes burst over the weekend and I was lucky enough to be here when it happened to prevent catastrophic damage, but it’s still another expense that I can’t afford.

I had a glimmer of hope when I received a job offer reviewing federal grant applications. But my start date keeps getting pushed back and with the latest EO regarding federal funding, I’m not sure I’ll ever have a start date.

I just need some help to get through the next few months while I continue looking for jobs. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.
