Nicholas is my 19-year-old nephew and has been dealing with digestive issues for years. He just had abdominal surgery last Thursday, May 29th, and recovery after the surgery has been slower than expected with some continual complications. What was meant to be a 3-day hospital stay has turned into 8 days, and the medical bills are increasing. We are hoping he can get stable enough to come home within the next few days. He has been in a lot of pain and has been only on a clear liquid diet since surgery. He is struggling with continued nausea and tonight will be getting a Nutrition IV to prevent further malnutrition.

During his recovery, Stacy has had to take unpaid time off from work, with many added expenses, such as daily parking charges at the hospital, meals on the go, and 8+ days of unexpected medical testing and hospital stays. And please pray for his healing and that he is stable and recovering enough to go home soon. He has a lot of changes to adapt to, once returning home as well.
