Support Nicholas Weaver's Family in their Grief
Donation protected
I am Donnie Springfield, and my nephew Nicholas passed away unexpectedly due to an unknown medical condition on the evening of February 3rd. There is never a good time for a tragedy, and this one is especially challenging. With your support, we can help Nicholas's family offset some of his final expenses.
Nicholas and his fiancé Nancy were temporarily living at a hotel in Burlington when he passed away. He had just been hired by a moving company, and Nancy was working all the hours she could get. They were saving to move into a new home.
On the evening of Monday February 3rd, Nancy stepped out to run an errand. They were talking on the phone while she was out and about, and Nicholas began to suffer from what we believe to be a seizure. Nancy called 911 and rushed back. Nicholas was unresponsive with weak vitals, and the first responders tried many interventions but were ultimately unable to stabilize and save him.
In addition to his beloved Nancy, Nicholas also leaves behind his mother Twyla-- my sister-- and her husband Pedro, father Nick and his husband Eddy, sister Elizabeth, and half-brother Anthony. The family was not prepared for such a sudden and shocking loss, and we call out to our communities, friends, and extended family for assistance with Nicholas's funeral costs. Nicholas's mother Twyla is the beneficiary of this fundraiser, and all contributions will go toward his final expenses.
As I write this, we do not yet have a scheduled date for the memorial service. What you see in the upper right corner is a placeholder. Since Nicholas was a young and fairly healthy man, his body is with the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner pending autopsy. Upon release, we are planning cremation followed by a celebration of life at Rich & Thompson Funeral Service chapel in Graham, NC. Please follow this campaign for more updates, and we thank you in advance for your love and support.
