My name is Nicholas, and I’m facing one of the toughest challenges of my life. I’m living with end-stage renal failure, which means I need dialysis three days a week just to stay alive. I was born with Polycystic kidney disease. Thisbis not something ive done to myself. This treatment leaves me exhausted most days, and I’m unable to work right now. It’s been a huge adjustment, especially since I’ve always been someone who worked hard—sometimes holding down three jobs at once to support my family and take care of those I love.

Asking for help isn’t easy for me. I’ve always prided myself on being able to provide for my family and handle whatever life throws my way. But with mounting medical bills and daily living expenses, I’ve reached a point where I can’t do it alone. The cost of treatment, transportation, and just keeping up with basic needs has become overwhelming. I miss being able to do the things I love and contribute to my family the way I used to.
