Support Nicholas Assante's Family in Grief

Hi this is cara. My father Nicholas assante passed away on June 4th 2024. This was completely unexpected and sudden. My father started feeling sick on Sunday morning couldn't really eat and was very nauseous all day . Then on Monday he was throwing up all day and my sister Nicole believed it to be food poisoning. Tues he seemed like he was a bit more lethargic and kind of disoriented and couldn't even turn himself over on the couch. We knew it was time to call the ambulance at this point. Once the ambulance arrived they tried to get him to get up but he couldn't do it himself. The paramedics then proceeded to lift him up and sit him on a chair. As he was sitting up the paramedics asked him to try to do certain things like lift his leg and he couldn't follow their commands. They decided to move him to the floor and for some reason when they did this they lost his pulse. They immediately started doing CPR . They worked on him for a very long time but never were able to get his pulse back. Unfortunately a lil later on when they got to the hospital they pronounced him dead at 1:41 PM. We are all truly heartbroken and shocked by his sudden death. My father was a great man who did everything to provide for his family. In this time of great sorrow and heartbreak we must think of his arrangements and how to pay for them. My father was the provider in our family but still he struggled to get by while taking care of his family. I am hoping that you can find it in your heart to please donate and help me,my mother,my sister and nephew Justin make funeral arrangements. Any amount you can spare would be deeply appreciated and would help with funeral costs during this terrible time.
