- Hi, my name is Nicholas and my wife's name is Kelsey. We just got hit with some big news that most people in the world nowadays would hate to have. I was just diagnosed with a testicular mass. Now the insurance company won't cover the expenses for the surgery. With my wife having a heart that works at 15% and not able to work a full-time job, and me being a private contractor, it's not easy to fork out $4,000 for the surgery. I was able to get on a payment plan at the hospital. They have a charity group that covers surgery for people that can't afford it, but we got denied for that too. I had the surgery and now I'm not able to work for a month, and then I have to get clearance from the doctor to go back to work. We have to wait 3 weeks to go back to the doctors and get the results to see if the tumor has progressed to cancer and see if it has spread. It's been a rough road lately and we are not people that ask for help, but sometimes you have to ask for help, so we are making this GoFundMe to help pay for the surgery.
- So a little update today went to the doctors the confirmed it was cancer and that the did get it all removed but now I have to go threw kemo and radiation. Please wish me luck as I go threw this tuff journey ahead. I thank everyone who can help us out.
