Hi everyone,
On August 5th, 2025, I was in a serious car accident that left me with multiple injuries, including a broken clavicle, several fractured ribs, and a collapsed lung (hemopneumothorax). I spent four days in the hospital, needing breathing treatments, and on August 14th, 2025, underwent surgery to repair my collarbone. This accident has taken a huge toll on me physically, emotionally, and financially.
Although the other driver was at fault, their insurance will not be able to fully cover the medical bills and recovery costs I am facing. Between hospital stays, surgery, procedures, and ongoing treatment, the expenses are far greater than what insurance can provide.
Because of my injuries, I am currently unable to work and will be out for a significant amount of time while I heal. I have a large clientele for my nail business and recently started a new job that I truly love. My goal is to be well enough to return within the next two months, but right now I need support to make it through this difficult recovery period.
This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden during my healing process. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward:
• Covering medical expenses and hospital bills not covered by insurance
• Supporting rehabilitation and follow-up care
• Helping with basic living costs while I’m unable to work
I want to say that asking for help is not easy for me. I am a hard-working individual, and I’ve always been someone who extends my hand to others in need. I do not ask for handouts — but right now, I’m hoping for the same love and respect I’ve shown to others to be extended to me during this difficult time.
I am truly grateful for any support you can give — whether through a donation, sharing this page, or simply keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness will help me focus on healing, returning to the work I love, and getting back to doing nails for my amazing clients. I’m determined to come back stronger and continue building the life I’ve worked so hard for.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Nia Koryn
