New York Rock'N'Roll

The Movement

Help us keep it loud.

Hello all, I’m Nora Polinnia, a Ukrainian musician and student based in NYC. New York Rock'N'Roll is a movement that unites student artists with the legendary creatives of 80s rock'n'roll. Our mission is to tell the youth "keep going. keep making art because it can one day... change this world." We plan to achieve this through mentorship.

New York Rock'N'Roll is our attempt at summoning the lost religion of rock back onto the streets. A mindset where artists were the carriers of peace.

Alongside students, legends from NYC’s golden eras of artistic resistance join us on stage. Our public launch at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park, with Gail Ann Dorsey, showed us how much this community wants the space to create something influential together.

We are an independent project, and every year we build more: showcases, media projects, open calls and an evolving physical + digital community.

Your donation helps fund the sound, crew, visuals and spaces that give young artists a platform for social and artistic expression.

This isn’t just about art - it’s about reclaiming the right to speak out.

May rock be your destiny.
