For the last 25 years the New Life Church & Outreach Center of Wichita has provided Hot Meals, Clothing, Housing, Groceries, Fruit & Vegetables and other Resources to the Underserved in our city and surrounding areas. We have provided open gym and mentoring to youth in our community to keep youth off the streets. We have provided a safe haven for people in our community. Hundreds of Families, Seniors, Youth and Single Mothers are served monthly through our many outreach programs. But WE WERE ROBBED!!!!! On Friday, April 10th we discovered that Every Air Conditioning Condenser Unit had been either stripped, vandalized or missing. Sixteen units on the ground, 5 missing, 11 units vandalized, copper stripped or disabled. This is not something we were prepared for as we operate on a shoestring budget. We were in the process of shopping a new insurance policy as we were priced out of coverage in the pass. We don't ask for much too often but this is bigger than we can do alone.
