Over Christmas, Clarabelle—a very tiny kitten in the care of New Kent Humane Society—took a scary turn. She was rushed to the emergency vet with an impacted colon and needed hospitalization to save her life. Thanks to fast action and expert care, Clarabelle pulled through… but the medical bill came to around $2,000.
