Little Avery was rescued recently after being found on someone’s porch starving. Noticing her little belly was very distended and had a gagging cough sound. Radiographs showed something in her stomach. Since we did not know her history, we were not sure if it was rocks, litter, or something else. An endoscopy was needed to access. Findings showed major food bloat from dog food! This is going to take time to digest and hopefully she will feel better. Avery is also fighting anemia from a flea infection.
