This fundraiser directly supports ongoing efforts to keep Neveen and her young family alive in Gaza, to help her buy food and medicine or other basic necessities that support her current pregnancy, and to one day leave Gaza when the borders open.

Neveen’s story:

Almost exactly 1 month before the events in October 2023, Neveen and her husband brought home a new baby girl named Sham. They had just purchased their first home for their young family. After the events of October 7th, Neveen and her family had to urgently evacuate their home. Thinking it would be temporary, they only brought a few essentials.

Neveen completely relies on donations in order to buy food which is currently extremely scarce, to provide shelter and medicine. Recently, the building next to them was hit directly and Neveen was trapped under the rubble shielding her baby with her body and arms. Sham was thankfully unhurt, but Neveen required many stitches to her head, face and body.

Neveen is currently pregnant with their second child. Every dollar helps her pay for nutrition, access medical treatment and visits, and will eventually help her with the delivery as well.
