Nevaeh is my niece, and she has her whole life ahead of her. Unfortunately, a few days ago, she was diagnosed with Influenza B. What initially seemed like a routine illness quickly became severe. By Monday she was admitted to the ICU and placed on a ventilator last night. Her condition is serious, with her heart not functioning properly and her muscles beginning to break down. Tomorrow is her 21st birthday, a milestone she should be celebrating with family and friends. Instead, she is in critical care, fighting to recover with the support of her medical team.


This sudden situation has created significant challenges. Nevaeh will be unable to work for an extended period, and expenses are already starting to add up. Rent, utilities, and medical bills are placing a heavy strain on her and our family. We want to make sure she can focus fully on healing without the added burden of financial stress.
