Nevaeh Smith, is in a fight for her life.

We could really use LOTS of prayers. We have seen God working on this journey. When she was rushed to ICU, we were told she might not make it...we never lost FAITH. God will have the last word in her story.

She has been hospitalized since Feb 3, 2025, in Odessa, Tx, then being transferred to Baylor Scott in Ft Worth, Tx on 02/21. Ended up in ICU on 03/03, couldnt breath, oxegyn levels crashed. She was intubated and put on CRRT, in medical induced coma. She was released from ICU and moved back upstairs on 3/9/2025. It has been a rollar coaster from the start. Medical Center in Odessa started with gallbladder issues, went to pancreas issues, and next thing we know, her liver and kidneys are failing. Baylor is doing everything they can to keep organs working until she can be qualified for transplant. She is getting dialysis 3 times a week. We are working with LOTS of Docs and social workers. We are being informed that because she is to unstable to be released, she will be hospitalized, until we can get her qualified for transplant, unless there is a significant change. There are alot of requirements to get her qualified. We have to show she has plenty of support and that we can provide housing for her after transplant, within 50 miles of hospital., They have given us options to stay in housing provided by them, at a discounted rate of 50.00 -70.00 a night. Its fully furnished, we would still have to provide food, toiletries and any misc. Between me and Koni, we have not left her side since all this started. Being out of town has been a financial hardship on all of us. If you feel in your heart to help, it will be deeply appreciated
