I’m Martasia Griffin, and I’m raising funds for my son, Nevada Pierre, a bright and passionate 3-year-old who has loved soccer since he was just 1 year old. With love, dedication, and guidance from his father, Don Pierre, Nevada has continued to build his skills and deepen his love for the game. Soccer is more than an activity for him. It is something that brings him joy and excitement and gives him a chance to learn and be part of a team.

On October 24, 2026, during a game with i9 Sports in Winter Park, Florida, Nevada went through an experience no child his age should have to endure. He was removed from the game because of concerns about his skill level, and the situation escalated to the point that law enforcement was called. At just 3 years old, Nevada could not understand why he was being taken away from a game he loved. What should have been a happy childhood moment became heartbreaking and distressing for him and deeply painful for our family to witness.

This fundraiser is about more than one painful experience. It is about protecting Nevada’s passion for soccer and making sure this moment does not define his journey. As his mother, it has been incredibly hard to see the emotional impact this has had on him. We believe every child, regardless of abilities, background, or potential, deserves the chance to learn, grow, and enjoy the game they love in a safe and supportive environment.

Donations will help Nevada continue pursuing soccer in a more supportive setting by covering registration fees, training, equipment, uniforms, travel expenses, and other opportunities for him to keep developing his talent. We need this support as soon as possible so Nevada can move forward and keep doing what he loves.
