Our beloved mother, Netta, has recently received life-changing news. Our mom is battling an advanced and aggressive form of stage 4B metastatic lung cancer. The cancer has quickly spread to her neck and brain, and treatment had to be started immediately. The purpose of this GoFundMe page is to raise money to assist with our mom’s current and future medical bills. She has a long road ahead filled with doctor’s appointments, tests, and medications. Medical debt should not be a worry for her as she continues to fight this awful disease. Instead, she should be spending time with her family and friends and enjoying the things she loves.

Our mother is truly one of a kind! She has always been a vibrant and active person, beloved by all who know her. She has a profound love for singing and gospel music, which brings her immense joy and solace. Her favorite colors, gold and pink, reflect her bright and optimistic spirit. Above all, she cherishes her family and treasures every moment spent with them. When she isn't spending time with her family, you can find her listening to Kenny G, Vitory Boyd (she love the song Psalm 91), and various gospel artists.

On May 19th, our mom was admitted to the hospital, leading to a 23-day stay with numerous complications. After extensive medical visits and tests, on June 7th, she was diagnosed with advanced stage 4B lung cancer that has metastasized to her neck and brain. She is currently undergoing radiation and immunotherapy, fighting with everything she has.

Facing cancer is daunting, both emotionally and financially. With this diagnosis come many unanticipated expenses. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to help cover our mom’s medical expenses, including treatments, medications, travel costs, supplements, alternative therapies that help manage her side effects and enhance her immune system, and other unanticipated costs.
