In need of extra support after house fire

Hi, my name is Netiya, and I’m reaching out on behalf of myself after experiencing something no one ever prepares for. A house fire that damaged almost everything I own just weeks before preparing to give birth.

On July 30th at 4 a.m., our home was severely damaged by a sudden fire. The fire was caused by a pot of oil that was left on the stove. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely and unharmed but due to the fire, all of my belongings have been ruined, including furniture, clothes, and everything that was bought for my newborn baby.

I am due August 17th and am needing to find a footing before my baby arrives.

Being a new mother is already overwhelming, but trying to rebuild from scratch while preparing for a newborn makes it even harder. I am currently without a permanent place to stay and am relying on support from loved ones while figuring out my next steps.

I am asking for help to cover temporary housing, basic necessities, baby supplies, and replacing household essentials.
