After being rushed to the hospital, Nessa found herself with a weeklong hospital stay, a new Ostomy bag, and a life changing diagnosis of Stage 4 Cervical Cancer. One visit changed her life physically, emotionally and mentally.

My sister-in-love is also a Wife, a Mother, a Grandmother, a Sister, an Aunt, an amazing friend, a Dog Mommy to “Rosie”, “Koi”, and “Atlas” and a Cat Mommy to “Jack and “Pippy”. To know Nessa is to love Nessa. I am praying we can make things as normal as possible for her while she is going through this time of uncertainty in her life.

Everyday life doesn’t stop when you hear those dreadful words. Amid all the worries and fears, the unknown, and the “what-if’s”, the monthly bills, the co-pays/ deductibles, and everyday needs/essentials still exist. My hopes and goals with this fundraiser are to help cover:

• Medical bills and Medications that are not fully covered by her insurance.

• Household expenses while she is out of work so she can focus on healing her body and mind with no worry or stress of losing her home or her utilities being disconnected.

• To help with dog and cat food for her fur babies that she loves so much!

• To help with gas for trips back and forth to her chemo treatments and Dr. appointments.

In the face of a challenging, scary diagnosis, along with the chemo and radiation treatments, Nessa continues to inspire us with her resilience, hope and positivity. Your support can help ease the financial burden of her treatment.
