My name is Nesma, and I am 22 years old. My family and I are from Gaza. Urgently, my husband, Amjad, needs varicocele surgery.

On the fifth day of the war, our home was bombed, forcing us to take refuge in a relative's house. Just a few days later, that house was also bombed while we were inside. My mother, younger sister, and niece were killed in the attack. At that time, I was eight months pregnant. My mother had lovingly prepared clothes for my baby, but they all burned in the bombing, leaving us with nothing for my child.

As the violence escalated, we fled to the southern part of Gaza on November 20, 2023, and settled in Rafah. There, by the grace of God, I gave birth to my first daughter, whom I named Hanaa after my martyred mother. My daughter was born in the midst of displacement and now urgently needs milk and diapers, but I am unable to provide them.

We have been displaced for ten continuous months in the southern Gaza Strip, and we are now living in makeshift tents made of fabric. These tents offer no protection from the scorching heat or the bitter cold. We lack the most basic necessities: clean water, adequate food, and proper shelter.

Every day, the occupation forces commit massacres against us, and there is no safe place left in Gaza. We have been forced to flee more than four times during this war. Our tents are infested with insects, flies, spiders, and worms, posing a serious health risk to us. Skin rashes are spreading rapidly among our children, and there is no medical treatment available.
