Hi! My name is Neptune Mahoney, and I’m 17 years old. This summer, I have the opportunity to travel with my Latin class to Italy to explore Rome, Florence, Sorrento and Vatican City. Having the opportunity to go on this trip means so much more to me than just a vacation. As someone who dreams of becoming both an artist and a teacher, I hope to use this journey to deepen my understanding of art, history, and culture, and to let those experiences inspire my future artwork.

Unfortunately, this opportunity comes at a time when my family has been facing serious financial challenges. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma, and our focus has been on his health and recovery. Because of that, we do not have the extra funds to cover this trip. Your support, no matter how small would mean the world to me. Every dollar brings me closer to experiencing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and to bringing home lessons and inspiration that will last a lifetime.
