We are fourt law students: Abijeet Adhikari, Ayush Gurung, Mahaharsha Rawal, and Rishansa Koirala from Kathmandu University School of Law, proudly selected to represent Nepal at the 23rd Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot in April 2026.

The Vis Moot is one of the world’s most prestigious international arbitration competitions, bringing together top law schools and leading global practitioners. For us, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn, grow, and represent Nepal on a truly international stage.

Coming from humble and financially constrained backgrounds, we have worked tirelessly to hone our advocacy and research skills despite limited resources. Our team members have previously represented Nepal in global competitions such as the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court, Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot, Jean Pictet Competition, and more earning national titles and international recognition along the way.

However, without institutional or domestic financial support, the costs of registration, training, and travel make it extremely difficult for us to participate.
