As the Nepali Student Association at the University of Pittsburgh, we are proud to help lead a vibrant community of students who share an appreciation for Nepali culture and heritage. Our club brings together Nepali students from across campus, offering a welcoming space where we can connect, learn, and celebrate our traditions together. Each month, we host general body meetings that educate members about our culture.
In addition to our educational meetings, we organize social events that help build a strong, supportive network for Nepali students at Pitt as well as sharing our culture with the Pitt community. These gatherings are essential for fostering a sense of belonging, especially for those who are far from home. However, to continue offering these experiences and to grow our impact, we are requesting your support. Your contribution will help us cover the costs of hosting events, providing resources, and ensuring that the Nepalis students and broader Pitt student community feels connected and empowered.
We are also committed to making a difference beyond our campus. That’s why 30% of all proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the Rukmini Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering girls in Nepal through education. By supporting their mission, we hope to help end gender inequality in Nepal.
We wish everyone a happy holiday season and invite you to join us in strengthening our community and making a positive impact both here at Pitt and in Nepal. Thank you for your kindness and support!
