Support Nen Daiko for 30 Hours of Taiko!

Nen Daiko is celebrating our 30 year anniversary in 2024! That means:

If you have ever enjoyed a Nen Daiko performance or workshop, now is the time to party!

Celebrate with us via livestream on May 24-25 during 30 Hours of Taiko. From Friday noon to Saturday at 6pm EDT, Nen Daiko members will play taiko. We’ll share stories, videos and interviews, plus host special guests.

In addition to celebrating our anniversary, we also have a goal to purchase new taiko. We still play the drums that our founding members made thirty years ago. They did such a great job! They are well-loved and beautiful, and we are very thankful to our founding members who created our taiko! We’d love to grow our number of drums so that every member can play at the same time. Each new drum costs about $3000 USD including shipping and a carry bag. Our first goal is to raise $3000, and if we reach that amount, we’d love to raise enough for two drums or $6000.

Could you sponsor a year? To sponsor a year, you donate at least $100 and then let us know which year you’d like to sponsor between 1994-2024. It would be awesome if every previous Nen Daiko member would sponsor the year they started playing with us.
