Support Nelly: A Single Mom’s Journey

Hello Friends,

I’m creating this fundraiser for my sister Nelly—who, despite being the “baby sister,” has always been the one to step up and show up for everyone around her. She’s a single mother of two beautiful daughters, a full-time student, and one of the strongest women I know.

Even though she’s juggling school and motherhood, she still manages to be everyone’s support system—including mine. She never asks for anything, even when she’s the one who needs help the most. And right now, she does—especially with the rising cost of housing and basic essentials.

She made the tough but necessary choice to cut back on work so she could focus on school and secure a better future for her kids. That choice, though brave and inspiring, has made things tight financially. From keeping a roof over her children’s heads to just making ends meet, she’s doing everything she can—but it’s getting harder to do it alone.

I’m asking for support—not for me, but for her. If you know her, you know her heart. If you’ve been her friend, you’ve likely been on the receiving end of her generosity, her loyalty, or her love.
