Hey 2026, it's time to get growing!

MMCG’s mission is to create vibrant, green community spaces that connect neighbors and foster a healthy sustainable environment for all.

About us (briefly!):
  • We started as a block of vegetable plots has flowered into a 4-block long Ravenswood sanctuary.
  • We have a fruit orchard and oak savanna that wildlife and bees call home.
  • Our plots (86 of them now!) host neighbors and families growing organic produce.
  • We offer a compost program to help local families cut down on carbon emissions.
  • The Ravenswood Neighbors Association uses our space to grow native plants to pepper our parkways and public areas.
  • Local students and neighbors conducting service projects and steward the land.

Help us focus this year on our common spaces, so they can give as much back to our local wildlife as members of our garden community.

The support of our neighbors is what truly keeps us growing. We're so happy to have you involved with our garden, bringing the community together and helping the environment one seed at a time.

If you are renewing a plot for the 2026 season (April 18 - November 15), make sure you email us a copy of your donation receipt.

If you are interested in gardening with us, please add your name to our plot waitlist.

If you want alerts about upcoming volunteer opportunities, subscribe to our email list.

The funds raised through this page cover the operational needs of the garden itself, including water fees, composting service, tools, plants, etc. This is a 100% volunteer-led and -run garden.

Thank you to everyone for your continued encouragement and support. We are so proud to be a part of this community.
