Hi family and friends.
Late afternoon Brutus suffered a lack of oxygen after being worked up and and was not able to calm himself down. Intervention was needed and Brutus was rushed to the emergency vet where he was intubated and sedated to help calm him down. He was being monitored in this state until late at night when they tried to remove intubation and have Brutus breathe on his own. It was unsuccessful and he was then intubated and sedated until early this morning. They took him of all medication and is currently in an oxygenated kennel. As anyone with a pet knows how fast these cost could stack up, we are asking our friends and family to donate what they can. We understand these are hard times for everyone. We appreciate you all and thank you. We will keep on updating anyone who would like to be updated on Brutus’ status. God bless!
